Does the hall have a car park?
The hall has a tarmac area for car parking at the rear. There is capacity for approximately 20 cars. Parking is also available on Malvern Road outside the hall but all users must ensure they do not block access to private houses.
Can I hire the hall for a wedding reception?
The hall can be hired for any event as long as the terms of hiring are adhered to.
Can I have a bouncy castle in the hall?
There is space in the main hall to accommodate a bouncy castle. Users must ensure that the provider of the bouncy castle has adequate liability insurance.
What do I do with the rubbish?
Hall users should plan on taking all rubbish away with them. There are landfill and recycling wheelie bins on site but they are only emptied every 2 weeks and they quickly become full.
What activities can the hall be used for?
The hall may be used for any activity which does not breach the terms of hire.
How big is the village hall?
There are 2 main rooms, the community room has a capacity of 100 and the main hall has a capacity of 200. You can also comfortably seat 12 in the meeting room for formal meetings.
Can I visit the village hall to see if it is suitable for my needs?

How much does it cost to hire the hall?
There are different fees associated with each room on an hourly basis. We use the Hallmaster booking system which can be accessed through our website.
How do I pay?
Once your booking is made through the website it will be reviewed by the Management Committee. Your booking will be confirmed by email and you will receive an invoice which can be paid by bank transfer.
How do I book the hall?
Please visit the Booking page, to check availability, and then use the HallMaster system to make your Booking Request providing as much information as possible.
Do I have to pay for setup time and clear up time?
Your booking must cover the whole period you require the hall for, this must include setup and cleaning time as there could be another booking immediately before or afterwards. More complex bookings should contact in advance by email to discuss your requirements.

Is all the equipment and facilities in the hall included in the hire charge?
There are chairs and tables available for all hall users, these must be cleaned and put away after use. The kitchen facility is available for all hall users but glassware and crockery is restricted for use by the Management committee.

Does the hall have disabled toilets?
The hall is fully equipped with facilities for disabled users.
Does the hall have external lighting?
The hall has motion sensitive external lighting.
Is a baby changing unit available?
There is a baby changing unit available in the disabled toilet.
Is the Wi-Fi in the hall?
There is WiFi in the hall available for all users. The router must not be interfered with.

How is the heating controlled?
Hall users must not attempt to change the thermostats or the heating timer. The heating controls are set by the Management committee for the comfort of all hall users.
Where are the tables and chairs stored?
Tables and chairs are stored on mobile racks in the cupboard near the front door. The racks should be moved and unloaded at the point of use. All tables and chairs should be cleaned, returned to the racks and returned to the store room on cessation of hire.
What equipment is provided in the kitchen?
There is a fully fitted kitchen which includes and oven, hob, refrigerator, dishwasher and boiling water tap. Users needing crockery and glassware should bring their own.
How do I use the Emergency Defibrillator?
If the defibrillator is required you must phone 999, the defibrillator is registered and the call handler will be able to give you the code to access it and can provide support for its use.
What to do if somebody has an accident in the hall?
The situation must be dealt with by the hall user, if necessary phoning 999 to obtain emergency support. After immediate first aid is provided the accident book must be completed and the management committee informed using our email address.
